This project was a complete re-imagining of the Highland Courtyard on the University of Arizona campus. Used primarily as a pedestrian passage way, my design incorporated shade and ground level seating for those utilizing the marketplace. The heart of my design was found the world created above the courtyard's pedestrian traffic; a pollinator stopover habitat on top of the shade structures.
The project was my very first landscape architecture studio project, focusing on design principles rhythm and emphasis. I completed every step of the project from the abstract sketches to the physical 3D model.
